keep surfing - ab 20. Mai im Kino! ....Der Eisbach lebt!

Die Idee zum Film entstand vor 10 Jahren bei meinem ersten
Besuch in München, als ich die Flusswelle am „Eisbach“
entdeckte, einem Isarkanal der im Herzen der Stadt
München liegt. Für die Eisbach - Surfer ist es
das „kleine Hawaii“.
Da ich selbst zu dieser Zeit schon einen Großteil meines
Lebens dem Reisen und dem Surfen im Meer gewidmet
hatte, verliebte ich mich auf den ersten Blick in das
Flusssurfen, die Menschen die ich hier kennen lernte
und in die Stadt München, die von nun an meine neue
Wahlheimat war. Gleichzeitig wurde meine Leidenschaft
für das Filmemachen und Fotografieren immer stärker
und ich begann mich auf die Suche nach Gleichgesinnten
zu machen.
Der Film reflektiert insofern auch meine eigene Geschichte.
Meine Motivation war immer die Liebe zu den Menschen,
die Faszination am Surfen, mein Bedürfnis Menschen zu
portraitieren, schöne Momente in Bildern festzuhalten und
Geschichten zu erzählen. keep surfing ist das Ergebnis all
dessen, was ich an meinem Leben liebe.
